I guess my 'scenario' a little different than yours in that I had only one IPMN but it was also in a branch duct and measured 32mm. No nodules but some main duct dilation. Watched it for 2 yrs but when started to show some growth I had whipple with gastro doc and surgeon on board for the surgery. No problems during surgery nor now. 41/2 hour surgery, no ICU, walking second day, out of hospital after 4 nights. back to work after 8 wks, playing tennis twice a week in 4 months. I still have MRI every year to check for other cysts but so far, all is clear. Hoping the best for you too no matter what course you take in the future. Just keep up the monitoring.
