Also, check out Dr. Nick Nissen at Cedars Siinai. I was diagnosed with pancreatic NET over 5 years ago and he has operated on me several times (whipple then liver resection a few years later) and saved my life. He is a very experienced surgeon. I also met with docs at USC (Parekh) and UCLA (Donahue) and City of Hope and ultimately decided to go with Cedars for my surgery and care.
