Hi, i have bone mets as well, femur, suspected upper arm, hip and spine- on two vertabrae tumor has replaced 90% of the bone and they are indeed very painful. My docs immediately went to radiation as a plan of attack. I was treated a U Penn and initially was supposed to be regular radiation but then was switched to proton therapy. That was around Easter and the results have been tremendously positive in terms of pain relief. Next scan approaching so will see then if there is any visual result.

Maybe you can investigate the radiation option with your docs. Happy to share any info and best wishes for a positive step forward. Ken
