Which ones are you asking about?

Are you taking vitamins prescribed by your doctor, for a particular reason, or are these vitamins you are taking on your own?

We always brought a list to ever doctors appointment of all the medicines/vitamins/supplements my Mom was taking and asked about every one at some point. My Mom continued some of her vitamins/minerals while on chemo when they were important for a medical reason. For example, she was on Vitamin D (she had a blood test showing a deficiency), calcium (to make sure she had appropriate supplementation for her age/risk) and iron. If there were supplements she wanted to take, she had them 'cleared' by her doctor. She was also told to avoid anti-oxidants for a few days around the time of chemo.

I am having a hard time remembering if she was on a multivitamin....
