Had whipple 3 years ago. Had last MRI in January. Normal. But blood work just indicated an elevation in CA 19 9. From 38- 47. Insurance says I should do CAT instead. But I think MRI better for seeing liver. But MRI is more expensive. How should I proceed? Thanks for any input.
