I'm 6 1/2 years out from my intial whipple. 7 months out from a total pancreatectomy. It will get better! Make sure he's walking EVERY.SINGLE.DAY :) Multiple times a day, doesn't have to be overly far, just up and moving. Eat what he can, when he can. And, try to mix in a protein shake, don't push to make him finish anything, he probably can't. There is nothing worse that throwing up post whipple!
