My husband had the Whipple June 21, 2011. We just had his 'almost' 4 year scan and he is still in remission!! It took him a few months to get back to almost normal eating. He lost some weight but once we got the enzymes he started gaining it back.

Food is trial and error for the most part. There are only a few things that his digestive track will not tolerate such as sausages and beef.

The next few weeks/months will be challenging for you all but keep positive and know that he was one of the lucky ones to get the Whipple.
