But please.... let your Mom be involved in these conversations. Hospice will not let you 'hide' it from your Mom. And can you imagine how she might think if/when she discovers what you have done, even if it is motivated from a good place?
Hospice is just more help to keep her home, out of the hospital, feeling as good as possible for as long as possible. If she feels better and wants to restart chemo, then you take a break from Hospice. That's how I would pose it to her...... 'Let's do everything we can to keep you out of the hospital.... if that is what you want?'
