Hello, my mom had ascites drained 2 days ago as her pancreatic cancer has traveled to omentum. She also has a hernia. They drained 13 lbs of ascites and we all thought she would feel better and she feels worse and can't eat. She said the pressure is terrible and she hasn't gotten much relief. Does it take a few days to feel better? Why would the pressure still be so intense if just removed? Thank you for any insight you can provide.
