I am sorry that you seem to be at a turning point in your husband's journey. Sounds like you have done and continue to do a lot to fight this disease.

Unfortunately despite the efforts to treat cancer like a chronic disease, there comes a point when medicine runs out of options. Not all cancers are in the same place and we know that PC is one of those where the options are still limited. While we are fighting for more time, the time is measured in months or a few years but not decades or a normal life span for the patient. That is our reality.

So just make sure that you and your husband are on the same page about what he wants to continue to do towards treatment. There is no right or wrong answer - just the decision that he makes. While we all have the goal of quality of life and quantity of life sometimes the disease has a way of forcing a choice.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your husband on this journey.
