Hi there - I had major issues with pancreatitis post-surgery because of a leak. The most important thing is to stay away from fats AND protein. I would try lots of carbs--English muffins, white toast, crackers, pretzels, white rice, white pasta, etc. For flavor--you can do jellies or tamari. Also, clear liquids are a good tummy filler. I had a friend who filled my freezer with very strained (no fat!) broths. They taste like proteins and fill the belly, so I drank a lot of that. And tea.

I would recommend getting a gastroenterologist on your team if you don't already have one. They tend to know a bit more about pancreatitits than the onc or surgeons.

For what it is worth, I feel the hunger! I had pancreatitis off and on for months and it was the hungriest I've ever been. Best of luck to the both of you.
