I am not sure why a biopsy was not done. Well first it was only on the spleen and oncologist said that the spleen is very delicate and their is an increase risk of rupture if they try boipsy. Then in dec. A large mass appeared on his pancreas. That was biopsy and said to be suspicious for lymphoma. But a repeat of bigger tissue needs to be done for better diagnosis. Yes UCLA is pretty close to us. I will call now. Just was told that they scheduled my dad for another biopsy in dec. 31. Another week :-/. They couldn't put him in sooner. I hate this waiting.
