What crazy week! I went with my dad to his appt yesterday. He was anticipating more weight loss even though he's been eating like a horse. Come to find out, he gained 5 lbs! Praise the Lord! It was a good meeting. No chemo this week just to give him a break and numbers are stable. The problem is that he is severely lacking energy. He can barely walk to the mailbox. I hear that some of you take Ritalin to help with this. Did your doctors warn you about any implications? Are there other alternatives? He's had a 2 week break from Folfiri, his current chemo. I don't think the fatigue is from the cancer, or could it be? Maybe it's the result of so much chemo pumped into the body even though he's been off of it for 2 weeks now. Prayer to all.
