My wife has had 10 treatments of Gem/Abraxane and never fails to develop a fever two days after. Our oncologist referred to this as 'Abraxane fever' and although it is usually relatively low (100-101)) it has gone as high as 102 for which we had one foot out the door for the ER before it broke with help from some Tylenol.

The sad fact, however, is that we will be getting off of the Abraxane as it appears to have stopped working. CA19.9's have been doubling with each recent reading and over a couple of months have gone from 100 up to 5,400. Anyone know a good clinical trial?
