Last Rodeo for Me
I was diagnosed in April 2013 with pancreatic cancer;had laproscropic surg
ery May 9, followed by 6 mos of Gemzar chemo; clear 3 months then cancer
nodules found in lung; took infusions and chemo orally; then chemo
orally;last ct scan showed Beast invaded lining of my abdomen; due to start
combo of Gemzar and Abraxane. Given 6 months - 1 yr to live. Anyone out
there taking this combo? I'm 73 yoa wfm and have felt good most of the
time. Am concerned that if this new regime isn't going to extend life and
infringes on quality of life for time I have left, is it worth it?
