I am so sorry for the pain you are experiencing with your father's passing. There are no 100% answers as to what specifically caused your father's death. However, keep in mind that you have been with your dad throughout his time with pc. You are a loving child who was there with him when he needed love and support. Remember, you are not a doctor with the knowledge and expertise of dealing with this terrible cancer. I am quite sure there would have been nothing you could have done differently to have kept your father alive. You are really one of the more blessed people to have had your father for 5 years after diagnosis. Many people, myself included, have lost their loved one in a much shorter time period. The pain for you has begun, but for your dear father it is over. May he rest in peace knowing how much he was loved and will be missed. Peace to you and your family.
