I'm several years post op pancreatic surgery. Get scanned once a year. On Creon, Metformin 1,000mg 2X day & recently started Levemir 10 units at bedtime. Had colonoscopy a couple years ago.

Had not had any digestive problems until about a month ago. After having a bowel movement, a few times I've developed lower backpain after not having had pain prior to the BM. This has happened after passing quite a long stool that was the consistency of peanut butter. Wondering if the cause could be colon spasms. Anyone experienced this? Pain lasts rest of day but I wake up fine after uneventful night of sleep. I take Motrin for the pain during the day (hurts mostly when I bend) and I use a heating pad to sleep on. Wondering if I should be concerned....
