Your diagnosis is scary, very scary. My brother was given that same diagnosis. But I agree with Beth. Each day is a new day to enjoy and spend with those you love or doing what you love. New treatments are being worked on as we speak. There are many doctors working on finding a cure. In the meantime, be sure to take your meds for nausea and to help you digest food. You will need your strength for your treatments. Also, don't suffer with pain during treatment. There is no reason you should be in pain. Talk with your doctors and get a handle on it right away. If you wait, it can take longer to get it under control. Don't be afraid to ask for help from family and friends. They all want to help you! Know that you are not alone. We are all battling with you! This board has so many kind, compassionate and very knowledgable people. Use it often. You will be comforted as well as informed. If you hear a term or an option, check here. Someone may have had experience they can share with you. You will be in my thoughts and prayers as you start this journey. Karen
