My dad is in so much pain after having an external bag put in to drain bile duct since stents are not working. There is also cancer in bile duct which cannot be treated until pain is under control and my dad is a little stronger to handle the chemo. Any advice for pain management? The doctors are giving him dilauded every 3 hours. So frustrating to see him in pain! And heartbreaking. There is a pain management doc, but whatever he's doing isn't cutting the mustard.
