Thanks. It sounds like you have more pancreas than my Mom. She only has a little bit of the tail. I thought 36000 x 2 with each meal sounded like a lot too but she was taking 4-12000 previously and it was not enough. Horrible horrible gas. It seemed ok when he upped the creon but now it is back to foul smelling however no where near what it was before. I am thinking it is the metformin and a friend said she had to go to the metformin ER to get rid of the gas. She also has developed a problem with balance and this friend says metformin will also do that.
