Wow, this is all good information. I do need to figure out the Creon amount. After last hospital stay, doc prescribed the 6000 lipase pills. During chemotherapy and radiation last fall, another doc prescribed 24000 lipase pills.

I still had 24k pills left so use them most of the time. I have started giving a pill before eating, in fact, I think it makes sense to take the first pill 10-20 minutes before eating because these pills are delayed release anyhow. Good to get something dissolved and in front of the food, then in middle and end.

Problem right now with Eve is she doesn't want to eat. Pain in lower right abdomen is bad.

The other wierd thing is she had her biggest bowel movements this morning, the biggest/most in weeks and she hasn't been eating more than a cup of food a day and some Ensure. I don't know where all this stool came from unless there was still stool hanging around from her small intestine stopping up weeks ago. Maybe the lining of the intestines had stuff stuck to them. I know one thing, 3 days after eating watermelon that only had those little white seeds, she was still excreting them.

Going to GI doctor tomorrow, hopefully they can start figuring out what is wrong with the intestines.

Thanks much for all the info.
