Hi Janet10, could it be due to the fact that you're not used to eating relatively fatty meat (ribs) and therefore the body has a harder time digesting? While we were in remission for 8 years, she would occasionally have oily stools after eating too much meat fats. It is more concerning if there are oil drops when the body usually can digest this food without issue. This happened to us last summer, but it was an early warning sign that we didn't pick up.

I hope it is nothing, just a combination of travel and fattier food! You're doing the right thing to be proactive and keep watching the CA 19-9.
