Hi. The sampling error theory I find curious -- you said you had three samples taken (in another forum), so could sampling error occur with all three? fibrosis is nothing to sneeze at (to say the least) but I guess all in all, it's preferable to mets in the liver. Not that you get to choose.

When I had my distal, they did a liver biopsy while under the hood because even though I had no liver tumor (then) I had elevated liver enzymes. They sheepishly later admitted that they didn't take a good enough (not large enough) sample, so I'm familiar with how it can be done wrong. But 3 bad samples would have to be really awful luck... but I guess if it's the same resident in the OR doing something the same way 3 times in succession maybe not.
