The CT scan showed several pathologically enlarged mesenteric lymph nodes and thickening of the wall of the transverse colon. There is a small isotonic mass on the remaining pancreas, most likely lymph node. The doctors think the pancreas looks fine, and we are concerned about the possibility of a NEW colon cancer. IPMN patients have a high risk for extrapancreatic malignancies.... She is scheduled for colonoscopy next Thursday.
