Met with my new oncologist yesterday Dr. Eileen O'Reilly at Sloan in NYC. I will be 3 years post whipple for stage 2 adeno. in April. She said that if all blood work and tumor markers from yesterday were good, I would not need a CT scan until August(last scan last August 013).

I'm a little confused because I thought that scans for pc are done every 6 months for the first 5 years and than yearly. She said this is not the case. After 3 years they start yearly.

Want to know if anyone has been told at the hospital where they had surgery and by their doctors? Got results today ca19-9 (9) everything else good.

Thanks
