Just an update, Duke had to postpone the whipple from Feb 21 to Mar 04 due to vascular surgeon schedule. That's ok cuz I have had my wife at Duke all this week so they can figure out what is causing the acute pains in her upper right abdomen. She hasn't been eating well either, going downhill with whipple procedure imminent, not a good combination.

So, her pain is being managed better here and she's eating much better. They may do another plexus block tomorrow or Friday, we'll see.

The CT scan done this past Monday is still negative for any liver Mets which is awesome news and contrary to suspicion of the chemo oncologist here.

So, hopefully we go home Friday with a new pain management regimen or with another plexus block that worked and get wife ready for the whipple Mar 04. Words cannot explain the load lifted from my wife and I knowing she is eligible. Hopefully they won't find anything else once they go in and the whipple is actually completed.

More to follow! Thanks for everyone's well wishes, prayers and thoughts for my wife, they are working !
