Well today as expected, our platelets did go down but not as much as before. All other things like WBC and Gran also went down but like the platelets not as much as before per session. We noticed the improvement in Dec. as that's when we started in earnest but around the Holidays we were lax and the blood test showed it. Our doctor doesn't understand why our platelets are improving but this is the only change. We also have an enlarged spleen that stopped growing so maybe it stopped storing blood too! We are on Gemzar/Abraxane and Neupogen shots so time will tell soon! When we went back to chemo 2 years ago our platelets were at 100+ from a constant of 69-75 and now they're climbing back again to 100+. Could be the spleen and the diet?
