Hi, does Ascites mean that the end is near? I know they can drain the fluid, but I heard it can come back quickly, and takes a lot out of the patient. Please share any experiences with ascites, as this is a new development

mother- whipple november 2008, chemo, radiation, NeD until october 2013, 2 sessions of Folfirinox- side effects too toxic, now developed ascites

please help. thanks so much !!
