I so understand your fears. When Dan found out he had PC he talked his younger brother into going in to be checked because he was having some problems. I didn't know about this until after Dan died. They did what testing they could on our son and thank heavens didn't find anything. He still has some health problems but has not gone back. So far nothing major, but who know. My daughter in law and I talked about genetic testing but she was not sure if she wanted it done. So for now we have not .I pray for the day when an early screening test is found. I hope it is my life time. I'd like to see the Dr that told my husband to go home and work on his quality of life, that was back in fall of 2008. He is no longer in this country or I think I would. I wish the best for your son and you. hugs.
