I was diagnosed with biliary cyst adenoma,( no stones present)..chronically
inflamed gallbladder with a cyst developed right next to the gall bladder. It
was surgically removed and I am doing well. 5 years later my younger sister
was diagnosed with stage 4B gall bladder cancer, adenocarcinoma. There is one
sister left with her gallbladder and having symptoms, no stones present in
her either. Would it be most definitely in her best interest to have her
gallbladder removed? In my opinion it would be,there is an extremely strong
sibling history here. Please advise.
