Husband was diagnosed PC Stage IV in January 2013, Fluifox chemo x 4.. and got sicker each time. Since it had already spread to the bone, the doctor stated the chemo was just to extend his life (by a few months max per doctor). My husband decided it was not worth being sick 24/7 trying to extend his life, so in May went to Quality of life Bone mets is supposedly the worse kind of pain. He was finally put on a morphine pump. So for the last 11 months or so continued to be active. Christmas day his disease decided to progress further. He is retaining fluids, so difficulty breathing, feet swollen crazy and leaking. So now about as scared as I was, when he was first diagnosed. PC sucks!
