I am sorry to hear of all of the turmoil your family is experiencing with this difficult PC path. You really seem like an amazing woman, with an amazing husband and daughter... I am sure your Mom is so grateful for everything you are doing for her and your Dad. Thank you so much.

This is such a stressful time for all, and as I'm sure you know, depression is a common symptom of pancreatic cancer as well. If your Mom is feeling overwhelmed, I would encourage you to find out if there is a Palliative Care doctor or psychiatrist in the Oncology clinic who could help. Palliative Care doctors help focus on all of the 'quality of life' symptoms of cancer and its treatment. They can help with things like mood, sleep, pain, appetite etc.. and can also be great doctors to 'vent' to... as the oncologists often only have time to focus on the chemo.

Wishing you strength, and best wishes to your Mom on her birthday.
