My husband diagnosed 'by accident' found on ct scan for suspected diverticulitis. Rapid testing then surgery ( distal pancreatiectomy/splenectomy) then chemo ( Gemzar now then Zeloda and rads then more Gemzar) we are overwhelmed with incoming info how do we know we are being as aggressive as we should be? Pathology showed residual microscopic disease after surgery does this mean he didn't have a good surgeon? Why don't they do more surgery? We heard desmoplastic cells resist chemo ? Then why are we doing chemo? Should we be in trials for vaccine since he is stage 1B ? Help ! We are so overwhelmed ! Thank you
