Docs say it's IBS, since they feel they've ruled out everything else. I just don't buy that diagnosis for some reason. Why would I all of a sudden have IBS when I never had it before (I'm 63 y/o). Just not sure if I should listen to my intuition or trust what docs say. I feel lousy every day with abdominal pain, back pain and digestive issues. And I don't think IBS causes weight loss and fatigue. But, what do I know, I'm no doctor. Has anyone had a hard time getting this disease diagnosed - or had it diagnosed after having multiple tests come up 'normal'?
