Hello - I am sorry that you are in this difficult position. My husband had the whipple and they removed his entire pancreas in 2008, followed by chemo and radiation. Six months after his surgery he developed CA in the omentum. He also had CA in the pleural lining, but it wasn't confirmed at the time. We went to MD Anderson and he was put on GTX. He developed a small spot on his spine and our local SF Bay Area doctors used targeted radiation to eradicate the spot. He never had pain either. Get another opinion, please! Sending blessing, Nancy
