My Mom has also just been diagnosed with PC. She has a large (8cm) tumor at the head of her pancreas that is inoperable due to being wrapped around veins and arteries. She will begin a combination of chemo/radiation in January. She is 76, feels good and the cancer has not spread. She was first seen by a gastroneturoligst and is now being treated by two oncologist at Dana Farber in Boston. I too have been doing a lot of surfing and asking a lot of questions. I wish both you and your Mom good luck.
