Not sure why it was not offered -- but I remember you posting about it. My husband is 65 (was 64 when he was on folfirinox) so I don't believe age has anything to do with it -- mostly has to do with their health.

It may have to do with whether or not his type of PC cancer genetics will benefit. We found (after he started folfirinox) that this type of chemo is not beneficial for my husband and instead GAX is a better type for the type of genetics (wild type KRAS). Did your dad ever have his tumor genes tested? Caris testing?
