I would love to share any and all I know with you and your mom. I sorry to hear however that you're mom has this type of PC as it is very painful and difficult to get treated due to the mucin production and rarity.Do not give up though. On the up side, with no chemo or rad at this time my last check up at MD showed not only a stop in tumor growth but my main tumor has shrunk 25 to 33%. I am taking a little essiac and trifolium compound along with a special diet. I have gained 20 lbs. since surgery Oct 15, 1997. I have a feeding tube that has only recieved saline in over a month. Right now I am waiting on a doctor friend of mine to go over treatment options (yes a doctor making house calls on Sunday!). I will relay findings of this three week research. I am most serious right now about the Stehlin Clinic in Houston at St. Joseph's. I have faith that the personell there may have uncovered a super treatment. My second choice is gemcitabine and/or rads. Radiation may not be an option for me due to tumor location and I only have a fully functional right kidney that could get nicked and damaged. I am a full believer in the power of prayer as a first line of attack, diet /nutrition and attitude/mind/body next, and trust in caregivers. Without all you amazing caregivers (friends/family/healthcare people) few of us would have a chance. It may be quicker to fax you info so please if you like send me a fax and email address. I've been having trouble recieving email. My fax is 806-353-4573. My email adress is Shelby @mailroom.arn.net. Iam going to MD Anderson Rotary House on Tuesday, I'll send you a reply from there also. May God Bless Bear
