My darling husband died peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday from pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer. We fought it for two years but it was ultimately stronger than we were. I am sad, but I know I did everything I could to keep him alive, and to make each day special (especially towards the end). The last two months were hard but we stuck together. The day before he died, I asked him if he needed anything from me; he said, 'A kiss!'. That's the kind of guy he was. My heart goes out to all of you, patients and caregivers alike, battling this horrible disease. Thank you for all the support you have given us over the last two years. My husband would not have lasted this long without the information I gleaned from the people on this board! I love you all!
