Hi,

I had my whipple in October 2008. I have had a moderate level pain in my right abdomen, just under my rib cage for the past several years. The pain is probably a 4 on a scale to 10, and is controllable with percocet.

Since all of my follow up scans and tests have been clear, my oncologist attributes the pain to perhaps scar tissue in the area of my liver, or adhesions to my abdominal wall, etc, etc.

I monitor it to keep track of how often, getting worse, etc....

Just my experience...

Bob
