Hi, hoping someone has an idea or suggestion, my beloved aunt (she is 78, original DX and whipple/radiation/chemo over 5 years ago) has a reocurrence (couple very small hot spots) and her oncologist started her on Gemzar last week. He also prescribed Tarceva with the Gemzar, but her co pay on Tarceva is $1,000.00 per month and she can't afford that. She has AARP Medicare Supplement Plan F and her prescription coverage is 'Silver Script'. She doesn't have this kind of money - if anyone has any suggestions on how she can get the Tarceva, I would be pathetically grateful. She's worked hard every day of her life, including during much of her treatments - we want her to have the best possible chance. She responded well to Gemzar last time, not sure what Tarceva is or does but it's what her oncologist recommends. Thanks in advance for your help!!
