Yes, the surgery is difficult. But it is still the only possible cure for early stage PC. I'm not sure about statistics, but I believe people who have surgery actually do have longer survival time after diagnosis than people who are not able to have the surgery. I'm still around, ten plus years after surgery and I know I am an unusual case. I have good quality of life. Anyone who can qualify for the surgery really should not delay out of fear or doubt. Not trying to judge anyone, this is just my opinion.
