Hi Bernie Hard question to answer. My father had Whipples 2 1/2 years ago and it has changed his life dramatically. You need to come to terms that once you have Whipples you will never digest food the same way. Take a good look at your circumstances, your age, what your health professionals say. It's a hard road after Whipples but it is manageable, I hope you have a strong support team. Have a look on you tube and search for Whipples Survivors. Not knowing your circumstances, it's hard to comment. I hope you have a good support team at home. Best of luck, Bernie
