Karyn, having trouble posting here. Staten Island Univ. Hospital in NY performs a technique known as body radiosurgery. It is the ONLY place I've been given any encouragement regarding liver metastes. Check out their web page at www.siuh.edu, go to radiation oncology, then to body radiosurgery. We leave Monday for NYC. They do not tout this as a cure, but I am hoping it can buy us some time. My mom is Stage IV with major liver involvement. She is currently on Gemzar and doing well, but I need to know I've exhausted all the possibilities.
