I am a 34 yr old female who is experiencing R upper quadrant tenderness and a heavy type of feeling with a lot of air in my system...constantly burping up air. I recently had an ultrasound that showed a 4 mm area that appears to be a polyp within the gallbladder . This is adjacent to a thickened fold in the gallbladder. The bile ducts and the rest of the gallbladder appear normal. I am worried. I did speak with my primary doctor and he feels that this polyp should not be causing my discomfort and does not recommend surgery. Then I speak with other doctors and they feel I need surgery. I am planning to have another baby within the next couple of years. I am wondering what my pain right under my R breast could be and whether it is recommended that I have surgery to remove my gallbladder entirely. Please advise Thank You
