Look at hospice care as taking a time out and focusing on quality of life - not a decision to stop all treatment. Palliative care is so very important and it is not the same as hospice care -- it is really focusing on making sure symptoms are well addressed.

Stats do show that many patients do better with palliative and hospice care than non-stop treatment.

My prayers are for you both.
