Christine,

I have been on neupogen for 1.5 years and my WBC drops are my main side effect. I am able to get the neupogen as a prescription of pre filled syringes, which my husband or I administer. It is quite easy. This gives us much more flexibility.

One thing after 1.5 years of neupogen, I have experienced quite bad back aches and now I am monitoring my WBC carefully and only do the shots if counts are low, I check before every shot. Also, I respond so well that with a full shot my count will go up 15 or 20 times, so now I am doing 1/3 to 1/4 of the minimum dose of the shot available.
