Once you get some doctor appointments made, you will feel better. Things are at their darkest when we're feeling lost and alone. Be sure and let friends + family know what's going on...you are due a helping hand and some rallying support.

The reality is that this is unbelievably overwhelming and it is okay to admit it to your son, etc. Medical stress can be completely debilitating and the only way out of it is to let others know you need some help on this one.

In time and with perspective, you will see that in the scheme of things, your husband is lucky that the tumor is not so huge and has not spread. Regardless, it is all scary and feels like it's come out of the blue. the doctor was just doing his best to put the diagnosis in some sort of context, but it is still a huge deal.

Good luck and hang in there...
