I hate to pick your brain but mine is about to explode. My excitement that my husband would be seen by a tumor board at Stanford has moved to the 12 since his biopsy report will not be finished for the 5th. In the meantime he is being referred to an oncologist in Santa Barbara that does not pop up on any search besides breast and pediatric cancer. You mentioned that seeing someone like your oncologist in Long Beach then can that doctor manage with a local oncologist in Santa Barbara which is only an hour from us and I did get a glimse that Cottage Hospital does have a cancer wing/building etc. We finacially can not rent a place elsewhere and do have a son in San Jose but new baby small appartment. We do have the appointment for the 5th with the SB oncologist and are doing a CT of his lungs and renal lab today. Just yesteday that surgeon said there it was not neccessary to do the CT of lungs but now he is doing it today. Grrr. any help would be appricated thanks valerie
