for your great explanation! I know -- it is all a crap shoot -- and the prize is life....... We do appreciate every day and I do know -- the older the person -- the tougher things could get.

We meet with the oncologist next Friday. When my husband went in to get the infusion today -- and his numbers were so low -- his oncologist said she would have still treated them (because they are not to the point where he would not be able to get the treatment) -- it is just that this is a holiday weekend and he would not be able to get neupogen until Tuesday-- so she was worried that this treatment would take his numbers down so low that he would be at more risk for some type of infection.

She is right -- body needs to recoup!!

I am glad you are doing well -- you and several others are always such an inspiration!!!!
